School and college security systems provide
both daytime and nightime protection using three elements:
1. visual and movement monitoring
2. audio monitoring and warning
3. physical deterrent systems
Our electronic CCTV systems can lie dormant
until movement is sensed or they can monitor 24 hours. During
the day the audio element can be used by your staff as a tannoy
and cameras can be controlled to monitor rooms, activity areas,
and car parks.
Recordings
Once your staff alarm the system we take over. We can view
any intruder on our monitors, warn them over the speakers
to leave or desist and even switch on corridor or room lights.
If our warnings are ignored EPN personnel will contact the
police on our direct lines. We have full data recording, instant
playback and data is suitable for police scrutiny or prosecution.
EPNs electronic systems fall into two categories:
1. Remote Electronic
Systems
Where an institution is distant from our control centre we
install a remotely controlled system to monitor the entire
building and its occupants from our control centre with:
audio and visual contact direct police telephone
line.
2. Local Electronic
Systems
Institutions, within 20 miles of a control centre, can be
both monitored and physically patrolled. The electronic CCTV
system can lie dormant until movement is sensed and, as with
our remote systems, we will then respond to both audio and
visual surveillance from our control centre.
